Top 7 most creative Christian songs:

Posted: September 18, 2010 in Music

From time to time, a painter gets out of the conventional box of yellow, blue, and red; or the standard combinations or concepts and colors of his time, and ventures to try new gammas and new styles that defy the norm. This, in my ‘not-at-all-professional-in-painting’ mind, is what brought to light great artists like Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh and others.

In the same way, some song/music writers have ventured to compose songs -specially in the Christian music industry, that have dared to get out of the ‘G D Em C’ pattern (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s fine, just imagine most Christian and country music melody sequences); such quest, includes but is not limited to new combinations of keys and chords in the same song, different structure (other than verse, pre-chorus, choruses, Am7 bridge), and instruments/styles combinations.

With all that in  mind, may I present, my top 7 most creative Christian songs for the last few years (In no particular order)….. comments, suggestions and complains are welcome 🙂
